About

Nikki Borges is a Latinx Director who thrives on turning creative chaos into polished storytelling gold. She began her career creating original social content (back when videos were only 15 seconds!), building stories from the ground up with limited resources and a deeply hands-on instinct. That scrappy foundation continues to shape her work today. While her portfolio has evolved into highly polished branded and commercial productions, she’s never lost that roll-up-your-sleeves edge.

As Executive Producer of instaMiniSeries, she served as Co-Showrunner on projects like MURDERVILLE, helping shape an early wave of short-form digital storytelling that anticipated today’s platform-driven landscape. She’s also spent years honing her craft at Girvin Pictures, where she learned that the best work lives at the intersection of strategy, authenticity, and just the right amount of caffeine.

Having worked extensively as both a producer and director, Nikki brings creative vision and production precision into seamless alignment—turning ambitious ideas into smart, beautifully executed work across platforms.

Her work spans social media, music videos, and red carpet events, with clients like Estée Lauder, The Wall Street Journal, Van Cleef & Arpels, and more. In 2020, she directed SoulPancake’s Now What?, sparking important conversations with youth activists.

When she’s not behind the camera, you can find Nikki soaking up the sun in Rockaway Beach, NY—living her best life as a professional surf spectator and part-time beach lizard with her pup, Chop Cheese.
